Be more efficient with Gmail

Gmail commands are something I’m still trying to get the hang of, but I can see them being incredibly useful.

Start with basic commands such as, “Open Gmail and show me unread messages,” and then progress to commands such as, “Show the last email from [contact name] that has an attachment.”

 

📧 Top 10 Bixby Commands for Using Gmail Efficiently

  1. “Hi Bixby, open Gmail.”
    → Launches the Gmail app directly.

  2. “Hi Bixby, search for emails from [contact name] in Gmail.”
    → Helps you quickly find emails from specific people.

  3. “Hi Bixby, compose an email to [contact name] in Gmail.”
    → Opens a new email draft with the recipient pre-filled.

  4. “Hi Bixby, show unread emails in Gmail.”
    → Filters and displays only unread messages.

  5. “Hi Bixby, archive all emails in Gmail.”
    → Starts the archiving process (may need manual confirmation).

  6. “Hi Bixby, check my latest email in Gmail.”
    → Opens your most recent email.

  7. “Hi Bixby, delete the last email in Gmail.”
    → Helps quickly clean up your inbox (with confirmation).

  8. “Hi Bixby, mark this email as important in Gmail.”
    → Flags the current email thread.

  9. “Hi Bixby, open Gmail settings.”
    → Takes you directly to Gmail’s settings for faster customization.

    → Helps organize your inbox using labels (if label exists in Gmail).


⚙️ Tip:

Some of these commands may trigger Bixby to open Gmail and require a few manual taps (due to Gmail’s security restrictions), but they still save time navigating.
